Phân tích yêu cầu: người viết cần phải đưa ra ý kiến có đồng ý hay không đồng ý với quan điểm rằng du lịch quốc tế gây ra nhiều căng thẳng hơn là thúc đẩy sự hiểu biết giữa người từ nhiều văn hóa khác nhau. Với dạng đề này, người viết có thể có 3 cách đi bài như sau:

• Đồng ý hoàn toàn với quan điểm du lịch quốc tế gây ra nhiều căng thẳng hơn so với việc nó thúc đẩy sự hiểu biết giữa người từ nhiều văn hóa khác nhau.

• Hoàn toàn không đồng ý với quan điểm du lịch quốc tế gây ra nhiều căng thẳng hơn so với việc nó thúc đẩy sự hiểu biết giữa người từ nhiều văn hóa khác nhau. 

• Đồng ý một phần và cho rằng du lịch quốc tế có gây ra một số căng thẳng nhưng không nhiều hơn việc nó thúc đẩy hiểu biết giữa người từ nhiều văn hóa khác nhau.

Reasons for total agreement (Đồng ý hoàn toàn)

• Social conflicts: International tourism may contribute to social conflicts as locals and tourists compete for resources, leading to tensions in communities.

• Cultural Erosion: Excessive tourism can lead to the erosion of local cultures as communities adapt to cater to tourist preferences.

• Environmental impact: Over-tourism may harm natural environments, contributing to pollution and habitat destruction.

Reasons for total disagreement (Hoàn toàn không đồng ý) 

• Cultural exchange: International tourism fosters cultural exchange, allowing people to share traditions, values, and customs.

• Economic benefits: Tourism is a significant source of income for many countries, promoting economic growth and providing job opportunities.

• Mutual understanding: Exposure to different cultures through tourism can enhance mutual understanding and tolerance.

Reasons for partial agreement (Đồng ý một phần) 

• Cultural challenges: While tourism can cause tremendous public outrage and prejudice, it gives people some foreign culture exposure. Overseas tourists tend to have more authentic and unique experiences that lead to more profound understanding

• Individual perspectives: People's experiences with international tourism vary, and some may encounter tension while others foster understanding.

Introduction: Paraphrase lại đề bài

• Thesis statement (giới thiệu nội dung chính của toàn bài): Trả lời trực tiếp câu hỏi của đề bài –international tourism mặc dù gây ra căng thẳng, nhưng đem lại hiểu biết văn hóa.

Body 1

Minh chứng cho những xung đột văn hóa do international travel:

• 1st idea: Logan Paul, một Youtuber nổi tiếng, chế nhạo văn hóa Nhật Bản.

• Support: Hệ quả dẫn đến phản ứng gay gắt của cộng đồng.

• 2nd idea: cư xử ích kỷ và không phù hợp của một số du khách Trung Quốc tại một nhà hàng Thái Lan

• Support: sự việc gây căng thẳng giữa hai quốc gia.

Body 2

• International tourism giúp du khách hiểu về tập quán và lối sống địa phương:

• Support: Đi du lịch giúp con người có sự hiểu biết sâu sắc hơn về địa phương, so với việc chỉ tiếp nhận thông tin về địa phương đó từ TV hay báo chí.

Conclusion

• Paraphrase lại thesis statement và nêu lại quan điểm, ý kiến cá nhân đã đề cập trong bài.

Bài mẫu

In today’s world, international tourism is generating enormous financial wealth and has become the primary source of income for numerous countries around the globe. Although many people think this industry is likely to cause tension, my conviction is that international tourism greatly facilitates understanding between people of different cultural background.

There are indeed several instances of international travel creating social conflicts. One recent incident happened when Logan Paul, a renowned Youtuber, visited Japan and made fun of Japanese traditions and lifestyles. Such mockery caused tremendous public outrage and prejudice against this young American. Another example is Chinese tourists’ inappropriate and selfish behavior during a buffet party in a Thai tourist destination a few years ago. Even though these examples did not speak for the rest of American and Chinese populations, they, as a matter of fact, increased tension between the countries involved.

That being said, in most cases, visiting a foreign country can help tourists understand more about local customs and lifestyles. While the modern media, such as TV or newspapers, give people some foreign culture exposure, overseas tourists tend to have more authentic and unique experiences that lead to more profound understanding. This is extremely important because embracing cultural differences is key to establishing and maintaining social relationships in this day and age.

In conclusion, international tourism allows overseas visitors to experience different cultures and therefore connects everyone through mutual understanding. In my opinion, we should not merely judge the industry based on a number of situations where conflicts arise from misconduct of only a group of individuals.
