Tổng quan lý thuyết về câu tường thuật lớp 9
Theo Cambridge, câu tường thuật được sử dụng để thể hiện lời nói của người khác hoặc những gì bản thân đã nói trước đó.
Cách dùng
Người học sử dụng câu tường thuật khi muốn trình bày và thuật lời lại nói trực tiếp của một ai đó. Khi sử dụng câu tường thuật cần thay đổi đại từ nhân xưng, thì của động từ và trạng từ chỉ thời gian.
Ví dụ:
“I will do my homework tomorrow.” → Alex said (that) she would do her homework the following day. (Alex nói (rằng) cô ấy sẽ làm bài tập về nhà vào ngày hôm sau.)

- Khi tường thuật câu hỏi người học cần đặt câu theo thứ tự câu trần thuật và loại bỏ dấu chấm hỏi cuối câu.
