Although there is a lot of translation software available, learning a language could still be advantageous. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Dạ em nhờ chatgpt chấm thì ban đầu nó để TR 6 còn Grammar 7 xong em sửa theo suggestions của nó thì thành TR 7 Grammar 6. Thầy cô giúp em với ạ huhu, em cảm ơn thầy cô nhiều ạ <3

There is a belief that it is more convenient for us to study a different language than rather than using translation applications. In my view, I agree entirely with this statement.

On the one hand, the development of the internet and technology assists us in multiple ways, and one of them is translating various languages through software. Ultilze the advantages of those, we can travel around the world without worrying about language difficulties. For instance, elderly individuals when traveling, have to face lots of language barriers, especially in unpopular countries. However, there are translation devices that they can rely on to express themselves and save time rather than using body language. In addition, translation software in the present day can even explain and translate the signs on the road, which are extremely necessary for foreign drivers.

On the other hand, having proficiency in multiple languages could be a great benefit, since learning new languages has become accessible for everyone. This is because having conversations without depending on online translators allows us to gain more potential opportunities for ourselves. For illustration, the Emily in Paris series shows the main character had numerous difficulties when she changed her new job to Paris, without knowing any French vocabulary. Through hard work in learning a new language, Emily started to become more confident and have relationships around her, and also gain the trust of her boss. Consequently, her job grew incredibly and it even assists her to form a romantic relationship. Additionally, relying on translation applications is only a temporary solution, and it is inevitable that one will eventually face difficulties in communicating with local people. Nevertheless, learning a second language such as English will be long-lasting and expand our future opportunities in occupations.

In conclusion, I believe that having access to different languages will be more beneficial and practical for us rather than relying on online translators.
