Đề bài: In some parts of the world, it is increasingly popular to research the history of one's own family. Why do people want to do this? Is it a positive or negative development? 

Essay: 

In some parts of the world, it is more and more common to expand one's horizons of family background. People want to do this in several reasons, and I am of the opinion that it is a beneficial phenomenon.

There are several driving factors why people want to do this. Firstly, lots of people want to gain an insight into their family background because of their curiosity. Studying this may develop a strong sense of who they really are, they might have a deeper understanding of their own identities, included their own culture from their grandparents' day.

It is a beneficial phenomenon because of two main contributors. First and foremost, as they could have a thorough insight into their family culture, they tend to preserve valuable family traditions, so it could keep for generations. Besides, when people in their family understand of their family background, everyone would have the same topic to talk during family gatherings. 

In conclusion, there are many reasons related to this, and this tendency should enhance more and more, becoming an own tradition in each family.
