From the overall perspective, what stands out from the graph is that the amounts of waste output by company A and B decreased over the period, whereas the opposite was witnessed in company C. Another striking feature is that the figure for company A was the highest for most of the period. Turning to the details, in 2000, the amount of waste produced by company A was the highest at 12 tonnes, in comparison with just around 4 and 8 tonnes in company C and B, respectively. However, in the next 5 years, while there was a significant increase in waste production of company C from around 4 to 6 tonnes and company B with the amount of approximately 2 tonnes, company A saw a considerable decline by roughly 1 tonne. Looking further into the data, over the 10-year period from 2005, company A continued cutting its waste steadily and finally reached around 8 tonnes. At the same trend, the amount of waste produced by company B fell dramatically and hit the lowest point at 3 tonnes at the end of the period.
