Overall, the individual healthcare spending of governmentin almost countries was almost fourth times higher than private healthcare expenditure. The outlays of United States were clearly the highest in both spending types.
In terms of government health expenditure, the highest number was United States, which recorded over $3,500. This was followed by just over $3,000 in four countries, which were Sweden, Germany, France, and Canada. Japan and Italy had the equal spending at above $2,000, and then approximately $1,200 was spent by Israel’s government, which was stood as the lowest individual healthcare expenditure of government.
Turning to private healthcare expenditure, United States was also the highest number at over $4,000. Meanwhile, Germany and Canada were around fourth times lower than US at just slightly over $1,000. Then under $1,000 spent by UK, Sweden, Japan, Italy, Israel and France which were also the lowest private healthcare spending per person.
