Tổng hợp lý thuyết về bài tập câu gián tiếp lớp 8

• Câu gián tiếp (indirect speech) là cách diễn đạt lại lời nói của người khác và lời nói không đặt trong dấu ngoặc kép (“…“).

• Cấu trúc của câu gián tiếp: S + động từ tường thuật (said, told) + (that) + lời nói gián tiếp.

Ví dụ: He said, "I am going to the store." => He said that he was going to the store. (Anh ấy nói anh ấy đi đến cửa hàng.)

Một số dạng câu gián tiếp phổ biến

1. Câu gián tiếp dạng câu kể (Statements)

Cấu trúc: S + said/told + (that) + S + V (lùi thì)

Ví dụ: "I can't find my keys," she said => She said that she couldn't find her keys. (Cô ấy nói rằng cô ấy không thể tìm thấy chìa khóa.)

2. Câu tường thuật dạng câu hỏi Yes/No (Yes/No Questions)

Cấu trúc: S + asked/wondered/wanted to know + if/whether + S + V

Ví dụ: "Are you coming to the party?" he asked => He asked if I was coming to the party. (Anh ấy hỏi liệu tôi có đến bữa tiệc không.)

3. Câu tường thuật dạng câu hỏi Wh- (Wh- Questions)

Cấu trúc: S + asked (+O)/wanted to know/wondered + Wh-words + S + V

Ví dụ: "How did you solve this problem?" she asked => She asked how I had solved that problem. (Cô ấy hỏi tôi đã giải quyết vấn đề đó như thế nào.)

4. Câu tường thuật dạng câu mệnh lệnh (Commands/Orders)

Cấu trúc: S + told/ asked/ advised/ ordered/ commanded/ instructed + O + to-V

Ví dụ: "Please turn off the lights," he said. => He asked me to turn off the lights. (Anh ấy bảo tôi tắt đèn.)

Cách chuyển câu trực tiếp sang câu gián tiếp

Để chuyển đổi một câu trực tiếp sang câu gián tiếp, học sinh cần làm như sau:

• Xác định động từ tường thuật (said, told, asked,...).

• Lùi thì của động từ chính trong câu gián tiếp.

• Chuyển đổi trạng từ chỉ thời gian và nơi chốn

• Chuyển đổi các đại từ
