I think it is not very different from the way people in other countries express happiness. When humans feel happy, they smile a lot. Hugging was not very popular in years gone by, but the younger generations today feel comfortable with this gesture.
Do you think happiness has any effect on people?
Happiness surely has many positive effects on people. I suppose the first influence would be its anti-aging powers. Studies have shown that people who are pleased with their life look more youthful and vibrant. The next effect might be that happy people tend to look on the bright side. This makes them excellent problem-solvers when faced with a difficult situation.

How can people be happy?
Happiness means different things to different people. Some people feel happy when they are physically satisfied, for instance, with the food they have just eaten. Meanwhile, other people find themselves filled with happiness when they help someone in need. So, it really depends on our own experience to understand what makes us happy.

The second reason is that our unhappiness can be really powerful. It reveals a lot about a person and can change someone’s behaviour in a positive way. For instance, a kid who knows that his action displeases his father can learn to not repeat that action again.
