Trả lời: Yes. I use it on a daily basis. I have to say that I am an active user of these platforms. I believe that people in my generation grow up with social media and it has become an indispensable part of our life. For the most part, I use social media platforms as a main source of the latest news and information. Plus, social media especially comes in handy to catch up with my friends and keep in touch with long-distance acquaintances.

Trả lời: Well, I have a couple of social media profiles such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok. These platforms have been really popular in Vietnam for the past few years. When it comes to Facebook or Instagram, I use them to interact with my friends and sometimes do shopping online on it as recently they have been known as marketplace. And about Tiktok, it is my favorite one, there are so many amusing videos on TikTok with very short attention spans.

Trả lời: It is pretty hard to say exactly how much time I spend on these sites, but I guess it is around 3-4 hours per day. They are extremely addictive. I have a habit of mindlessly scrolling down my feed when I have free time, which sometimes could be time-consuming. So I am thinking of reducing my screen time and trying to stay off these social networking sites.

Trả lời: Yes, I believe social media exerts some negative effects on people's lives.

First, it could be detrimental to users' mental health since people always see others highlight reels on social media. Some may compare themselves to others and feel miserable about their lives. Additionally, social media can make people procrastinate. For example, it’s pretty easy for me to lose track of time and forget my priorities when browsing social media websites. Last but not least, privacy on social media would be a big concern. Many social media companies steal users' personal information and sell them to advertisers.

Trả lời: There are many advantages of using social media platforms. One of them is to connect with others. People can easily send and receive messages from others through social media websites like Facebook or IG, which could be beneficial to expand their social circle and strengthen bonds with their loved ones. Also, people can make a name for themselves on social media. In other words, these sites would be a great way for people to build their personal branding. For instance, many celebrities and influencers have become famous by having perfect profiles on social media.
