Tổng quan về phần thi TOEIC Writing Part 2 (Question 6 - 7)

Phần thi TOEIC Writing phần 2 là một phần trong kỳ thi TOEIC. Trong đó, có một dạng đề bài (thường xuyên xuất hiện ở câu hỏi 6-7) sẽ yêu cầu thí sinh phải viết một bức thư để phản hồi lại bức thư được đề bài đưa ra. Thời gian cho phần thi này là 10 phút và sẽ được kèm theo một số yêu cầu cụ thể như số lượng thông tin tối thiểu phải đưa ra, lý do cho quyết định của bản thân ở trong thư.

Các chủ đề của dạng bài này thường rất đa dạng, như việc cần bán một căn nhà hay yêu cầu sửa máy tính cá nhân. Phần thi này được đánh giá dựa trên một số tiêu chí bao gồm khả năng trình bày ý tưởng một cách rõ ràng, sáng tạo và logic, sử dụng ngôn từ phù hợp và chính xác, sử dụng câu trực quan và hiệu quả và khả năng tổ chức bài viết một cách hợp lý.

Để làm tốt phần thi này, thí sinh cần có khả năng đọc và hiểu tiếng Anh tốt, có khả năng tổng hợp ý kiến và suy nghĩ một cách logic và có kỹ năng viết tốt. Thí sinh cũng cần luyện tập thường xuyên để có thể viết thư một cách chính xác, sáng tạo và hiệu quả trong thời gian cho phép.

Dear Mrs. Megan Piume, 

 I’m really sorry for the late response.  I have spent a week thinking about some possible ideas for the “Business Success” cover. 

Firstly, a line which illustrates a growing pattern can be the primary object of the cover. Every entrepreneur always wants to lead their business to success, and the increasing tendency in sales and prestige proves that. The color theme includes yellow, purple and red. The background is in dark purple, the line is in yellow, and the name of the book which stays above the line is in red. 

Another idea is adding yellow coins and green paper money for the cover. Notably, the coins and paper money must be drawn specially in order to create a dropping effect. The name of the book can be designed in white and the background is in dark purple. 

The last idea is a classic. The picture of the author is placed on the right side of the cover and the name of the book is on the left. The author is a familiar business man so it will increase the sale of the book relatively.

Dear Beautiful Wear,

Your discount coupon is really appealing so there is no way that I will miss this deal. Here is my frequent shopping habit. 

Firstly, I tend to do research about the price and the quality of the products online before making a decision. The quality of the products depend on the buyers’ feedback. Even though the price can be a little higher than my budget, I will still buy it if the quality is worth the price.

Secondly, I am always attracted by the promotion, especially the big sale one, such as buy 1 get 1 or 50% - 70% sale off. However, I never overspend, but still really care about durability and versatility. 

Lastly, I always prefer clothes with basic colors such as black, white or blue jeans. Otherwise, I will choose a product with a very colorful design such as pastel color. I believe that some colors like orange, yellow, green are not a dark tone but are really hard to mix&match and can not create an outstanding move.
