Ví dụ: Hoa is the smartest student in the school. (Hoa là học sinh thông minh nhất trong trường)
Tính từ “smart” chuyển thành “smartest” để mô tả rằng Hoa là thông minh nhất khi so sánh với các học sinh khác trong trường.
Tính từ ngắn (một âm tiết) → thêm đuôi -est
Tính từ dài (hai âm tiết trở lên) → most + tính từ
