During the bygone days, teenagers used to be solely focused on their studies, and part-time jobs were unheard of. Today, however, teenage students are working part-time jobs, particularly in developed countries. Although there are various points of view on this subject, I believe that students should work while studying to reap the numerous benefits that will be discussed now.
First and foremost, they can generate the funds on their own. Several jobs, such as serving in a coffee shop or restaurant, babysitting, and so on, will provide them with money. They will learn how difficult it is to make money and its value, as well as how to treasure it, as a result of this. Furthermore, they are partially self-sufficient from their parents. And this contributes to their family's income. Notably, prices are rising faster than ever before, and courses are becoming increasingly expensive, so working can assist them in meeting those costs.
Secondly, earning money while getting an education will help students develop a strong personality that will help them succeed in all of their future endeavors. For example, while at work, teenagers face numerous problems and challenges, but they also learn how to overcome them. Moreover, the workplace allows people to meet new people, which improves their personality, communication skills, analytical skills, work ethics, and people management.
Last but not least, Students can discover their internal capabilities and areas of interest as they work. For example, if they work part-time in a restaurant, their managerial and marketing skills will improve, and they may discover that they can start their own restaurant business. Similarly, if students work as tutors in libraries, their teaching abilities may inspire them to become teachers. While working, students can make important life decisions.
In general, the points raised above support my belief that students should work while studying. In my mind, I always support working during education to broaden and improve my skills, as well as to find the right path and perfect career after finishing my education.
