Topic: Telephone marketing, also known as telemarketing, is becoming increasingly popular, particularly in the insurance and real estate industries.  What are some disadvantages of this business style for potential customers and telemarketing companies? Give reasons and examples from your reading, experience, or observations to support your point of view.

In modern society, telephone marketing, also known as telemarketing, is becoming increasingly popular, particularly in the insurance and real estate industries. I believe there are many disadvantages for both potential customers and telemarketing companies.

Regarding prospective customers, they find this marketing strategy irritating. Imagine having to wake up in the middle of a nap or wasting valuable time listening to a salesperson persuade you to purchase products or use services. Besides, customers may feel concerned that their privacy is being violated because they will receive a strange call just to recommend products they don't need. This is a potential risk of breaking the law.

In terms of companies, If they carried out poorly, telemarketing has a negative image that could harm your business's reputation. For instance, there can be rude callers, some of whom leave a bad impression in general. Clients are unsatisfied and probably stop using a company’s services and products altogether, which affects profits and other aspects of that company. To avoid that from happening, staff should be well-trained before starting their work, which can be time-consuming and costly for telemarketing companies.

In short, I think telephone marketing has negative effects on both prospective clients and telemarketing firms. It not only makes customers annoyed with the marketed service or product, but it also leaves the company with a terrible reputation.

Topic:  Should men share housework and child care, or should they, as the stronger sex, only try to earn money for their families? Give your opinion and support it with reasons and examples taken from your reading, experience, or observations.

Traditional Vietnamese culture holds that women should do housework while their husbands work to earn a living for the whole family. In my opinion, I think it is completely old-fashioned and sexist. In modern society, women have totally become the breadwinners for their families. Therefore, for gender equality, both parents should share housework and childcare. This keeps the family happy and brings many benefits to both.

First of all, since both men and women can work and earn money to support their families, it would be fair that home tasks should be equally shared. As a result, both parents will be able to comprehend and sympathize with each other’s job and stress, resulting in a good relationship for a happy family.

In addition, sharing childcare work can help both parents have a chance to spend time with their children and bond with them. Both fathers and mothers could understand their children's feelings and thoughts. Thus, it helps children to be happy, healthy, and confident.

In conclusion, the equal rights movements have made great progress, and it has become common for  women to gain qualifications and pursue careers. It is also socially acceptable for men to stay at home and take care of children. Therefore, couples should share housework and childcare as well as earn money. This will improve the relationship between parents and their children.
