Doctors typically diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatment, and perform surgeries. They're really about figuring out what’s wrong and setting up a plan to fix it. Nurses, on the other hand, are often the ones who implement the doctor's orders and spend more time on direct patient care. They manage the day-to-day well-being of patients, administer medication, and provide support and education to patients and their families. Basically, while doctors might provide the medical directives, nurses are the ones who help carry them out and also keep an eye on the patient’s progress.
