Supplementary angle (noun phrase): góc bù

Định nghĩa

Trong hình học, hai góc bù nhau hay còn gọi là cặp góc bù (supplementary angles) nếu tổng số đo của chúng bằng \(180^{o}\).

Ví dụ:

• Góc \(130^{o}\) và góc \(50^{o}\) là hai góc bù nhau vì \(130^{o}+50^{o}=180^{o}\).

• Nếu góc ∠A = \(75^{o}\) thì góc bù của ∠A là \(180^{o}-75^{o}=105^{o}\).

Trong một số trường hợp, hai góc bù nhau có thể có cùng một cạnh chung. Cạnh còn lại của hai góc tạo thành hai tia đối. Khi đó, chúng được gọi là góc kề bù (adjacent supplementary angle).

Công thức

• Khi biết số đo của hai góc, người học có thể xác định chúng có phải là cặp góc bù hay không thông qua công thức:

Obtuse angle (noun phrase): góc tù

Định nghĩa

Trong hình học, góc tù là góc có số đo lớn hơn \(90^{o}\) nhưng nhỏ hơn \(180^{o}\).

Ví dụ:

• Góc \(110^{o}\) là một góc tù.

• Góc \(150^{o}\) là một góc tù.

• Góc \(91^{o}\) là một góc tù.

• Góc \(179^{o}\) là một góc tù.

Trong thực tế, góc tù có thể xuất hiện trong các trường hợp sau:

Exercise 1:

4x = 180 → x = 45.
So, the exterior angle is 45 degrees, and the interior angle is 135 degrees.

Exercise 2:

Angle between two panels = (4x – 10)°

For the angle to be obtuse, it must be greater than 90° and less than 180°.

We set up the inequality:

90 < 4x − 10 < 180

→ 100 < 4x < 190

→ 25 < x < 47.5.
