Key takeaways

  • Bài thi SAT kiểm tra từ vựng học thuật Tier 2.

  • Chủ đề từ vựng SAT thông dụng: Comparison, Difference & Classification: example of, singular, specific, similar to, uniform, complicate, independent, accessory, imitate, categorize.

Dạng bài Words in Context trong Digital SAT

Dạng bài Words in Context trong Digital SAT
Dạng bài Words in Context trong Digital SAT

  • Điền từ vào chỗ trống: Câu hỏi thường có dạng "Which choice completes the text with the most logical and precise word or phrase?" [1][2].

  • Tìm nghĩa của từ: Câu hỏi thường có dạng "As used in the text, what does the word 'x' most nearly mean?" [1][2]. Dạng bài này chỉ xuất hiện với thể loại đoạn văn Poem/Novel/Short story.

Chiến lược làm bài Words in Context trong Digital SAT

2. opposite to (Context shows a contrast in behavior—one promotes growth while the other halts it—indicating structural opposition; "similar to" would imply similar reactions.)

3.  uniform (Context demands consistency in the environment for an experiment; "variable" means changing.)

4. example of (The museum serves as a model or representation of an aesthetic; "substitute for" means a replacement.)

5. specific (The dosage is tailored to individual weight, requiring exactness; "general" implies a broad or uniform approach.)

6.  randomize (Context highlights preventing bias in a trial by mixing without a deliberate pattern; "categorize" means grouping data systematically.)

7.  common (Context refers to a goal shared by many parties in diplomatic efforts; "singular" highlights something unique or exceptional.)

8. independent (The agency is free from outside influence; "attached" implies it is dependent or connected to something else.)
