If I had to choose one cake that best represents a special occasion in my family, it would definitely be a birthday cake. We don't always choose the same flavor. Sometimes we buy a chocolate cake, and sometimes we order one with fresh fruit and cream. Most of the cakes have a soft sponge cake base with layers of whipped cream or fruit jam filling inside, which makes them light and delicious. They are then topped with colorful cream decorations and birthday candles, so they always look beautiful and festive.

We only eat birthday cakes when someone in my family has a birthday. After dinner, everyone gathers around the table. We sing "Happy Birthday," make a wish, blow out the candles, and then cut the cake together. 

I'd like to talk about a birthday cake that my family always buys because it means a lot to me. I don't have a favorite kind. Sometimes my family buys a chocolate cake, and sometimes we choose one with fresh fruit and cream. Before every birthday, my family secretly plans a surprise for the birthday person and orders a cake in their favorite flavor. To be honest, even though we have been doing this for years, those surprise moments still bring us so much joy.

To save these meaningful moments, we usually take lots of photos before sharing it with everyone.  These little traditions make every birthday feel warm and memorable.

To me, this cake is closely connected to my childhood memories. When I was young, my family didn't have much money, so we rarely had a birthday cake. My parents always tried their best, but buying a cake wasn't always possible. 

Later, our life became more comfortable, and we started celebrating every birthday with a cake. Now, every time I eat one, I remember those days. It makes me feel thankful for what my family has now. We want to keep this sweet tradition meaningful, which is why we only enjoy this cake on these special family occasions.

Because of that, I never see it as just food. Instead, it's a reminder to count my blessings and be grateful for everything my family has today.
