However, there are also some negative effects. Social media platforms often use algorithms that promote shocking or controversial content, which can spread false information quickly. This makes it hard for some users to tell what is true and what is not. Privacy is also a concern, as sometimes personal information is shared without the user's consent.

Another problem is the way social media influences how we behave online. While positive interactions can build strong networks and support, seeing other people's perfect lives can lead to unrealistic expectations. This can cause social pressure and affect mental health, especially for younger users.

For many, social media has become a daily habit. "I use Instagram several times a day," says Emma, a 22-year-old student. "It’s a great way to stay connected with friends and share moments from my life, but sometimes it feels like I'm comparing myself to others all the time."
